This ring is hand fabricated out of 14k yellow and white gold wire.
The ametrine measures 16mm x 12mm. It is bezel set, which means there is a rim of gold all the way around the stone to keep it secure. This also makes it very wearable, as there are no prongs to catch or snag. Ametrine belongs to the quartz family, so it is pretty hard and durable. Ametrine is amethyst and citrine, both from the quartz family, that have grown together in a single crystal.
