I carved this ring out of wax, cut the center section out, cast the pieces separately in yellow and white gold, then assembled them together again. I love the gentle, elegant sweep the top of the ring has. I made the ring solid, with no hollowing underneath. It's a relatively heavy ring, but it's a comfortable weight, just enough to let you know it's there.
