This neckpiece is crafted in 14k yellow and white gold with a 1.02 carat fire opal and a.13 carat G, I1 diamond.  The pendant measures 12mm in length, and floats on a 16 inch cable wire chain.  The pendant is not removable.

Tim created this neckpiece.  He's more adventurous than I am when it comes to setting techniques and unconventional attachments.  He's created this piece and structured it in such a way that the pendant seems to float on the neckwire.  In reality, the wire runs between the diamond and the fire opal, with enough space to slide freely, but without the ability to come completely off.
