This pendant is hand fabricated in 14k yellow and white gold with an 7mm freshwater button pearl, a 9.6mm x 13.5mm drop shaped freshwater pearl, and three white sapphires. The piece measures 48.5mm long and 12.5mm wide.
The basic shape of the metalwork on this design was inspired by the pattern on a wine bottle. I'd done a rubbing some years ago and it floated around my workshop until I figured out a way to modify it and make it mine. There is really very little metal in this design- it weighs 3.2dwt. The pearls and the white sapphires are what you see and what makes the impact.
