This pendant is hand fabricated in 14k yellow and white gold with an 14mm x 9mm blue topaz and a 2mm white sapphire. The piece measures 27mm long.
Blue topaz is color enhanced- irradiated to be exact. That sounds like a scary thing to wear around your neck, but it is really quite safe and the color is permanent. The industry is quite regulated, and there is little to no radiation detectable in irradiated gemstones. I like this color of blue topaz the best- not too gray, not too green. It reminds me of the color of Windex, which is really a very pretty color.
