This pendant is hand fabricated in 14k yellow and white gold with a 7mm garnet. The piece measures 23mm in length.
This piece has an Asian feel to me that I can't quite verbalize. I guess maybe it reminds me of Chinese lettering. I could be totally off base here, but that's what comes to mind when I look at this pendant. The Mozambique garnet is a checkerboard cut, which refers to the pattern of facets on the top of the stone. It tends to bring out extra sparkle in a gemstone.
